The Sea Scares Me

I had a bad dream the other night
where the ocean covers sections of the freeway on the coast.
That makes it so I can not
go to my two old towns to visit family
and friends; and I'm trapped
in my current town.
It was raining so hard that
the sea level rose to those certain sections.
This isn't the first time I've had this dream.
When I woke up I had to actually
think hard whether or not that's really happened before.
I really love the ocean
but the thought of that happening
is horrifying.

Not Last Night But The Night Before

I dreamed about being with I think
4 other individuals, i kinda have the
feeling Captain K'nuckels might have been there,
on a bit cruise ship in victorian time.
NOT the titanic.
But anywho, we were on there
and I was getting chased by guys with
long, thin slightly back curved knives.
It wasn't scary. Like,
it wasn't a bad dream or nightmare...
kinda like a Flapjack cartoon.
An entertaining odd dream.
Anyways Me and the other four were
rescued by a mermaid.
She was pretty and that's all I remember.
The next thing I know we're on the shore and she's heaving this fisherman's
net full f I-don't-know-what out of the water.
Then I see that she has a scar
that's three parallel lines
kinda like a scratch scar.
I asked her where she got the scar
and then I'm in a forest full of Redwood trees and there are
big boulders, a stream, and beautiful small waterfalls.
Then I see where she got her scar...
Somehow she ended up in that forest
caught on some of the boulders.
I THINK she got the scratches from a tree or sharp rocks.

So, anyways that is my alltime favorite dream.
It was girly in the sense of there being a mermaid
and I understand a little why she was in it
from a birthday card i recently got
but i remember the colors being so bright and vivid
in the forest for the green of the leaves and the red-brown of the wood.
The dark gloomy colors on the ship.
